Capital 3, Round 4 Review

Clairvaux came to Ron Proud field for round 4 and It has been another good weekend for Acacia ridge with both teams picking up maximum points and scoring lots of goals.

The reserves put on another good performance by winning 7-2 and climbing up to 3rd spot on the ladder. The game was played in very hot conditions but the game was dominated by hard work and some very good team goals by Ridge boys.

The first team rounded off a good afternoon by winning 6-0 in their game. The team carried on from where they left off the previous week and controlled the game for the whole 90 minutes. Acacia Ridge boys kept constant pressure on the Clairvaux defence from the start and were 2-0 up within first 10 minutes. After that the boys showed some brilliant one touch stuff throughout the game and were by far the better side.

Both teams will hope to carry their good form into next weekend when we travel to Samford to face the Samford Rangers.
