Capital 3, Round 3 Review

After a good performance by both teams and win for the top side against a good Narangba team we finally had our first home game of the season against Ridge hills.

First up was the reserve team, the boys put up a good performance and came away with a 2-1 win despite the game being played in very hot condition. The reserves fought hard and showed progress from previous week, with this attitude the team will grow in confidence more and more every week.

Soon after, the first team took the field and played a game at a very high level. The best indicator of the quality of the performance was the 9-0 scoreline. The team was very strong and solid at the back, dominated in the midfield and very efficient upfront. It is a good feeling to know that despite this win there is still room for improvement. This is just the start of the season and we don’t want to get carried away.

We are now focusing on our next opponent which will be Clairvaux at home next Saturday.
